Prayer Space

The prayer space was a calm and welcoming space and every class in the primary school had a chance to visit. Children were encouraged to STOP and reflect or pray at each of the 4 stations; Sorry, Thank you, Others, Please.

It was an honour to be able to be part of their day, the response was as varied as the ages; the youngest classes learnt the concept of Christian prayer and the oldest were vulnerable and expressed their worries about SATs, family and health.

Texans 

We had a team of Texans visit from Avenue College Ministry.

For Safeguarding reasons we aren't able to upload photos of them heading into classes to talk to school students about what they believe, but the sessions went really well. We hope we can do the same next year!

We also had fun socialising with the Texans; we had an authentic Texan line dance evening and a bring and share meal after church on Sunday morning!
